Workvivo wanted to launch an Employee Insights tool, turning a collection of new features into a standalone product that would challenge a legacy category that was ready for disruption.

For years, legacy employee listening tools have offered tools to gather worker insights here and there . Without action, though, insights fade and employees get left wondering if they’re actually being heard. Only Workvivo gives HR a platform to bring data, communications, and employee engagement in one place.

The story

Insights without action are just noise. Workvivo wasn’t just disrupting a market – it was creating an entirely new category. We called it “Employee Intelligence” and elevated Workvivo above the competition by positioning Seer as the only solution that helps HR truly see what’s going on across their company.

The campaign

Positioning Seer as the smarter solution

We helped Workvivo find the white space for their new product in a overcrowded marketplace, giving them a positioning, narrative, and campaign wrapper that redefined the Voice of the Employee category. This subtle move from insights to intelligence laid the foundation for a successful product launch, helping them say something truly new while competitors told the same old story. Smart.

What we delivered

We created a new product strategy and positioning anchored around creating a new category: Employee Intelligence. This became the north star for the Workvivo creative team to develop a new name, identity and webpage to launch Seer.
